Amaroo 2010 Challenge:

The Amaroo 2010 Challenge is about putting Amaroo on a sustainable financial footing.

Over recent months presentations have been held in cities throughout Australia, New Zealand and the North Pacific – the response and generous support has been very encouraging and welcome!

In Kuala Lumpur Maharaji provided encouragement by attending a meeting of Pacific donors and thanking everyone for their support.

Our main target now is to continue to lift regular monthly donations.

At the end of May monthly donations have risen to $32,500 per month but we need a strong increase to reach our goal of $60,000 as soon as possible so that Amaroo has regular income to meet monthly costs. It’s a target we could reach if just 500 people throughout Australia and the Pacific gave an average of $4 a day each.

In addition, we are also inviting additional donations towards meeting the shortfall that has accumulated. More than $122,000 has been donated this year toward this purpose and has made a huge difference. We are seeking a further $50,000 in special one-off donations.
