Amaroo and COVID

The Amaroo Event team continues to respond to the changing dynamics of COVID and Government regulations with the safety of everyone in mind.  Please read this updated information carefully.
Australia is experiencing a surge in new variant COVID cases which is expected to reach its peak in August. The Government is advising people to take personal responsibility by having their vaccine boosters, socially distance and wear masks.
Update 8 August - Masks. As the average age of this year's attendees is 70 years, many of our guests are vulnerable with health issues. To protect everyone during the 5 days of events, Masks will be mandated in the Amphitheatre as well on Buses and Shuttles. Masks are also highly recommended in areas where social distancing is not possible. Please bring with you sufficient face masks for the week, preferably N95, KN95, P2, FFP2. Read more COVID Info page
If you have a medical exemption from wearing a Mask please bring it with you. You will need to show it when you pick up your tickets. You will be seated in a special area at the back of the Amphitheatre where there is good visibility and good air flow to keep you and all the attendees safe.
Prem Rawat’s speaking events around the world follow Government COVID regulations.
Preventative measures are also implemented, and these high standards have kept attendees, including Prem, safe.

Updated Government regulations and Amaroo Covid policy.

  • International travellers are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to enter Australia.
  • International arrivals are no longer required to have a COVID test within 24 hours.
  • It is not a requirement to be tested at Amaroo, unless you have symptoms.
  • We would really appreciate it if you could perform a Rapid Antigen Test before arriving at Amaroo on your first day just to check that you are clear. This is purely voluntary.
  • People who test positive need to quarantine for 7 days. Onsite guests will be able to quarantine onsite. Offsite guests will need to quarantine in their offsite accommodation.
  • For further information regarding Gov COVID Policy please refer to the Qld Health Website
  • Unfortunately, there will not be a seating area in the Amphitheatre for people who test positive.
  • We are researching the possibility of an event feed to quarantined onsite guests. Further information will be available soon.

Important information - Ivory’s Rock Foundation acknowledges that vaccination is a personal decision. However please understand that IRF and the Amaroo Event team cannot be responsible if the Australian Government once again imposes restrictions on unvaccinated international travellers in response to COVID.

It would be prudent for International guests to take out Travel Insurance that includes COVID cover.  Make sure to read the Amaroo Terms and Conditions in the blue drop down on the Registration page
