Please read carefully and book your transport requirements when you register for the event.

E-Scooters - are not permitted at Amaroo due to the risk of pedestrian accidents. This does not include mobility scooters used by people with disabilities.

Airport Buses

Buses run from Brisbane International & Domestic Airports to Ivorys Rock and return.

Daily Buses

On event days, Daily Buses operate from Pickup Points at specified hotels in Brisbane, Ipswich and Springfield to Ivorys Rock and return. Pickup Points are listed in the grey drop-downs.

Important:

All Airport and Daily Bus Transfers must be booked and paid for when you register for Amaroo.
You must present your ticket to board any Airport or Hotel Transfer Bus. Please bring either a printed copy or a screenshot of your ticket.
Tickets cannot be purchased on the buses.

Airport to Ivorys Rock

Schedule - Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September 2026

Buses run every hour from Brisbane International & Domestic Airports, beginning at 7.00am.
The last Bus on both days departs at 4.00pm, so guests can arrive at Ivorys Rock before dark.
Airport Buses to Ivorys Rock do not stop at Hotels.

Reception at Ivorys Rock closes at 5.00pm.
If you cannot arrive by 5.00pm please make arrangements to stay off-site for the night.
Swagman guests must arrive before 4.00pm for safety reasons.

You are welcome to return to the Airport and take the Amaroo Bus the next morning. Please be sure to book. Or you can travel privately. See below.

On the Amaroo Airport Bus:
The bus driver will load your luggage according to the colour of your luggage label.

Tag your luggage.
Please tag your luggage with a large label in the same colour as your campground. Jacaranda Campground = Black. Sandy Creek Campgrounds = Blue, Grey, Green, Yellow, Brown, Orange.

Ivorys Rock Buses to Airport

Ivorys Rock closes to all guests 3pm Saturday 12th September 2026.

Ivorys Rock to Airport schedule

Friday 11th September:
Two Buses will run. The first at 7.30pm. The second at Midnight.
Shuttles will pick you up 30 minutes before these times, at Green & Yellow Campground Hubs and Jacaranda Campground.

Saturday 12th September:
Buses will run every hour starting at 4.00am. The last one will be 3.00pm.
Shuttles will pick you up 30 minutes before these times at Green & Yellow Campground Hubs and Jacaranda Campground.

Please note:
The Shuttles will take you from the campgrounds to The Welcome Hall, where you can transfer to the Airport Bus.
Please deposit your luggage in the appropriate Bin for the International or Domestic terminal. All buses go directly to Brisbane Airport.

Free On-site Shuttles

Free on-site shuttle buses operate between Ivorys Rock Reception, Jacaranda & Sandy Creek Campgrounds & the Pavilion.

Shuttles run regularly - (approx. every 15 minutes) See Map

Amphitheatre Shuttle Bus:

Free Shuttles run from the Pavilion to Amphitheatre and return.
These are for people who opt not to walk up the hill, and are operational before & after events. No Pass is required.
