Each year, Amaroo is made possible by people who generously contribute their experience, skills, and goodwill.
Whether you are a returning volunteer or stepping forward for the first time, your contribution can make a real difference. Every volunteer, from behind-the-scenes support through to direct guest interaction, helps create the environment that makes Amaroo so special.
A New Beginning
For Amaroo 2026, volunteer recruitment will be managed through EVOL, the WOPG Volunteer Management System.
EVOL is already used to recruit volunteers for events around the world and will soon include Amaroo as a volunteer option.
Importantly, EVOL doesn't replace people—it simply organises information that would otherwise be spread across emails and spreadsheets. The conversations, support and decisions are still made by people. We are here and ready to help you make that connection.

create your profile in EVOL.
You will need to upload a pdf of your CV to EVOL. It doesn’t need to be extensive, just include relevant participation and/or work experience.
