We extend a warm welcome to you to join the Amaroo Team!
Each year, Amaroo is made possible by people who generously contribute their experience and goodwill. Over 500 people volunteer, turning Ivorys Rock into a temporary village that is Amaroo.

- Assisted Access Low Floor Bus team - Support guests who are registered for Assisted Access on and off the special low floor bus
- Motorhome Helpers - assist guests to find their reserved motorhome site location. Experience with caravans/motorhomes appreciated but not essential.
- Microphone Usher - at the Amphitheatre
- Local Usher - supports the safe, orderly, and welcoming movement of guests throughout the event.
- Airport Meet & Greet - directing guests arriving at the Airport to their Amaroo transport buses
- Amaroo Meet & Greet - pleasant outgoing people to be first contact for guests arriving at Amaroo
- Pavilion Setup and Takedown - volunteers able to start 4 September
- Pavilion Stores Gift Shop Assistants - retail fashion experience preferable, customer service attitude essential
- Ironbark Village Cafe Shopper - involves driving, Australia compatible licence required
- Welcome Hall Reception/Registration Assistant: Serve as a primary point of contact, welcoming attendees and assisting with arrivals.
- Registration Support: Provide administrative assistance, manage data entry, and help resolve ticketing or check-in queries at the Welcome Hall.
- Dayas Bar Staff and Food Waiters - experience not essential training provided
- Catering Pavilion Tables and Chairs: Daily Wiping and Resetting. Simple but essential daily tasks. Reliable people with reasonable fitness to keep the Pavilion area attractive and hygienic.
- Jacaranda Breakfast Supervisor: Monitor food service and the general management of the dining spaces.
- Campground Hub: Support campers by staffing information desks and troubleshooting guest concerns.
- Shuttle Drivers: Transport attendees safely across the Ivory's Rock grounds. (Valid driver's licence required)
- Campground Go-to - overnight contact point for issues that cannot wait until morning
- Intelligent Existence HR Manager: Support the Shop Manager by managing all aspects of volunteer induction and support.
A New Beginning
For Amaroo 2026, volunteer recruitment will be managed through EVOL, the WOPG Volunteer Management System.
