Making sure that the event runs smoothly and everyone is comfortable and safe, involves hundreds of volunteers who give their time and expertise in so many areas.
Whether you are a first timer or have helped often, have a few hours to spare or want to go all day, your contribution helps to make Amaroo the wonderful experience it is.

Join the Amaroo team:

  • Guest Services: Guest services ensures the comfort of guests from arrivals through to their accommodation, and is on call to troubleshoot any issues. Roles vary from Arrivals and Departures, through to housekeeping and concierge roles.
  • Pavilion: The Pavilion is the social hub of the site. Amongst the different booths and retail outlets are the Sponsorship booth, General store, Information, Timeless Today, Intelligent Existence, TPRF, PEP, a Bar and Event ticketing. There can be presentations and live music at times.  Helpers staff these outlets before and after events.
  • Event Setup and Takedown: These are the 'hands on' helpers who prepare, move, lift, and fix things. Setup and takedown help is needed all over the site and tasks can range from dusting to skilled trades.
  • Special Needs: Special Needs provide extra support to attendees who have physical challenges. They offer a rest area and manage dedicated transport to and from the Amphitheatre. It is not necessary to have medical training to help in Special Needs.
  • Seating: Seating helpers set and reset chairs to ensure everyone has a comfortable seat and a clear view of the event which is often in the Amphitheatre.
  • Human Resources: Help teams to find volunteers and volunteers to find teams. Generally take care of volunteer wellbeing and resolve issues.
  • Information: The Information Booth is at Shop 29 in the Pavilion. The team answers questions from bus timetables to restaurant menus, as well as providing a Lost and Found service and friendly smiling faces.
  • Transport: Transport team members help with airport Meet & Greet, and Amphitheatre transport, as well as providing information on the buses travelling to Amaroo. Daya’s has its own dedicated minibus which needs experienced drivers with Australian or International licenses.
  • Ticketing: The team hands out the randomly allocated seating tickets to guests. Located at Shop 28 in the Pavilion.
  • Salon: A hairdressing salon at the Pavilion needs receptionists and qualified hairdressers for shifts in between event times.
  • Dayas Fine Dining: Dayas restaurant is open for internet reservations before the event begins. Helpers assist guests with information, booking confirmations and changes.
